OUTPATIENT TREATMENT CENTER

The Saman admission, psychoterapy and counselling centre of Rome receives only on appointment. It is delegated to receive all the requests for help from the people with addiction problems or directly from the services.

The recipients are:

• People with substances addiction and their family (counselling and orientation, entry in community, therapeutic taken in charge by the family system);
• Young people at risk of substances abuse (primary and secondary prevention interventions; meetings and groups with the family);
• Families in difficulty (Counselling and psychotherapy centre for the family; auto-help groups);
• Drug addict parents with underage children (support to the parents);
• Ex drug addicts in reintegration phase. (social and work reintegration support, counselling and verbal groups);
• Social operators (Supervision, running and professional updating).

Saman has structured a private service open from 4 pm to 9 pm. It is directed to those who don not have contact with the public services but asks for a psychotherapeutic space. The team is composed by systemic psychotherapists and a psychiatrist
