SERVICE'S VALUES AND MISSION

The activity of the Residential Community "Saman - L'Asilo" is oriented to the treatment of individuals with pathologic addiction problems, abuse of psychotropic substances and associated psychic disturbances.

Saman - L’ Asilo offers a service of quick residential reception: it is a short period program (30-90 days) for people who accept to detach from an unsustainable routine without enough motivation and thrust to begin a true community program.

- for pathologic addiction cases are available 10 bed places.

- for the co-morbidity and double diagnostic cases are available five bed places of quick acceptance.

The weekly activities are the following:
- colloquium with the psychologist;
- group on communication;
- motivational group;
- organizational group,
- dynamic meditation;
- static meditation;
- cinema forum;
- chess course; *
- schiatzu massage;*
- to get out in group.

This structure is included in a national circuit of therapeutic communities, reception centres and semi-residential structures that guarantee an integrated and continuous taken in charge of the arriving individuals.
