SERVICE'S VALUE AND MISSION

Saman Belgioioso was founded in 1993 and is credited to receive 29 hosts and presently enabled for two different types of people:

- Addicted persons who need a type of intervention centred on familiar, social and working reintegration, (20 places);

- Alcohol dependent persons integrated in the speciality module “ Alcohol and poli -addiction”, (9 places).

INTEVENTION MODULES

REINTEGRATION
The work that has been done in recent years in Belgioiodo can be considered as an experimentation project of a social -working reintegration community which also gives much space to follow the person emotionally.

ALCOHOL PROJECT
The specialty module was accredited wit the l'A.S.L.of Pavia “ Alcohol and poli-addiction”, an high specialty program which allows to take in charge 9 alcohol dependent people in the Community of Belgioioso. The accreditation was preceded by a positive biannual experimentation: the project “ Alcolismo e luoghi di cura”, active from July 2003, born in collaboration with NOA (Nucleo Operativo Alcologia) from the ASL of Milano. In fact, it was a highly specialized program for the treatment of alcoholics . Psychologists and educators had a specific training following a three year training course “Alcologia in rete” and /or a direct training with the NOA from Milan.
