SERVICE’S VALUES AND MISSION

The Community Saman Lenzi, after having been closed for about two years, has reorganized and restart its own activities in September 2001 returning to what is the most traditional program of Saman, that is a rehabilitative program based on the psycho- corporeal activities (meditation, music therapy) an on individual and group psychological work.

In Saman Lenzi is scheduled a special program dedicated to pregnant women, couples and/or mothers with small children, to whom are reserved 10 places.

The project objective is such that the children and their mother can build their story together without a damaging separation for both.

Our structure is included in the circuit of Saman communities.

The community, inside this circuit, was designed as a first reception community, where it is carried out the first part of the therapeutic program up till social-working reintegration phase in other Saman community. This last phase takes place, after about 12 months of entrance, in other structures habilitated to the re-entry phase; even if it is not excluded for same cases the possibility to finish the program in this structure.

In this centre it will be given particular attention to the relationship with the drug addiction services, social services and with the family. What will favour an interchange and an useful confront for the elaboration of individualized programmes, for the activation of territorial resources needed even for a successive reintegration.
